I always fish with tubes in a dark color like forest green, dark brown and have had lots of success so i would imagine that the same color for grubs would work.

I have been having good luck with any dark colored plastic the past couple years...but dont be afraid to throw on some white if the bite is slow.

I try to stick to greens, browns, black, and if it's really slow...whites, and pinks.
Green punkin is my number one choice. 3 and 4 inch, single and double tail.

I use dark ones also but....have had great success with chartruese...it is halfway between yellow and green...very bright..some with gold flecks in them. I also use the bass scent. I have had days where nothing else works..catch maybe 5 or 10 in 2 hours...switch to the chartuese with scent and wham...bass every 3rd or 4th cast. Watch the "drop"...I find bass like to hit on the fall better than the rise or retrieve.
