What are the average size of the bass in this lake? I fished Jenkins and they mostly seemed not to be much bigger then a pound with the biggest being 2 lbs. Is there a place to back a boat into Waltons (19 foot nitro)?

No place to launch a large boat in Walton. 14 foot light aluminum is max. Walton's used to be fantastic a number of years ago if you hit it right in the spring when all the big bass schooled up staging on the spawning flats, but now there is a pile of pressure. Usually see 4-5 boats a night there in the summer with only 2lb max bass and not a hell of a lot of them either. Trout fishermen in Jenkins would always throw bass in the bushes as well.

It doesn't matter what the species; if I am not taking it home, back in it goes. When I was a kid I used to enjoy fishing for suckers in my hometown of Sackville out on the Tantramar marsh. We used to fish the creek from Silver Lake where it crossed Folkins Drive on the marsh. There was an abodeau there, which is like a big like wooden chute running under the road. It created a big deep whirlpool on the downstream side. We used to catch a bit of everything there including trout, but mostly suckers. There were hundreds of them and some as much as 4 pounds, and they were a lot of fun. I know a lot of people might catch a sucker and end up heaving it in the bushes, but it's not right. That fish might end up on the line of some kid someday and might be the biggest fish they have ever caught. While it might not be something they would take home, I'm sure they would be happy to land a 4 pound fish of any kind. I know I was.

Just got back from Walton. I managaed to catch 2 smallies, the largest just 12.5 inches. That being said, l suck at smallmouth, mainly because I almost never fish them and never really learned the tricks. So if I can catch 2, then the lake is probably teeming with them! lol
