Hey Guys, just wondering if anyone was on the Miramichi this past weekend, and how the water conditions were, I'm hering more reports of the brights coming up, but in no great numbers, also hering conflicting reports about the sea run trout, as to whether the runs are done or not. What are your thoughts.

Fished a pool in the upper Blackville area on Saturday and released a nice trout, caught on my first cast. Then as per fishing didn't get another decent bite the rest of the day. Nothing but parr which seem to be plentiful. No sign of a salmon at all.

well after all the rain over the past few days there will be lots of water for the brights to start moving up ...things should start progressing any day now.

there are some brights but to use the word lots maybe a bit much..unless things have improved since last weekend

Was over below Boiestown yesterday afternoon for a quick fish at a buddies place. There were lots of salmon moving through all day. My firends girlfriend picked up a nice 23 " +/- grisle. She had hooked a 10 lber earlier in the day and a few grisle. The river had been fishing well all week.

I didn't get a sniff. Maybe next time.

Conditions were good on the weekend.

I caught a nice grilse on Saturday up near Blissfiled and then got another one on Sunday near Doaktown.

There were lots of fish moving thought the pools and I saw 3 or 4 other hookups both days.

Locals were out fishing Sat Sun and Monday.
