Hey Guys,

I'm new to striper fishing so I have a few questions. Are there stripers around this time of year, other than the Miramichi? I would like to fish the Saint John river, would it be worthwhile heading up towards hampton by boat?

Any info would be greatly appreciated....

cheers

Anywhere from reversing falls to Fredericton, kennebecasis around Darlings Island is good. The end of Main Street north is not bad from shore, and right down at the falls just up from the lookout is good on the inbound tide, get there early, standing room only. Below the falls under the restaurant a little before the inbound tide. In Hampton, they have been caught right from the dock/boat ramp.
