Hey Gang:

I'll be making my way out your way real soon. Leaving the 28th for Halifax and then on to Saint John. I found another thread helpful by another poster regarding St. Andrew's. LOL.. it looks like we're hitting the chocolate museum. I was wondering how any fly fishing might be in and around St. George? Fresh or Salt it doesn't matter. man I think I really wanna spend some time casting flies into salt seeing I don't have that opportunity all that often. Thanks a bunch.

The Magaguadavic River(pronounced macadavic)flows through downtown St.George.It was once a productive Atlantic salmon and speckle trout river but unfortunately it is now loaded with invasive smallmouth if that's your thing? You should also be able to catch Stripers at the mouth at that time where it dumps into The Bay of Fundy. Some of the tribs way upstream still hold decent pops of brookies. There are literally hundreds of lakes nearby that have smallmouth, brook trout and landlock salmon.
