When can we start fishing open water?

On inland waters the river and brooks usually open up the 15th April. Lakes are typically the 1st May. If it's tidal I believe you can fish it year round. I think boundary water with Maine all open on the 15th of april as well.

Thanks for the info! I sent an email to the dnr a couple days ago and got a some good info from them I’ll post it in a second.
