OR

google: cumulative salmon counts

Has anyone seen these numbers, I am very suprised at how many have been counted already, especially the saint john. There have been more grilse put over the dam in june than all of last year. The Naswaak is also very high. Is this because of water levels maybe? The barriers on the Miramichi rivers are also high as of June 30th.

WOW...impressive numbers all over. I punched in the 30 June date and refreshed the graph. Quite startling really. Hope thats a sign for the future.

In reality, they couldn;t have picked a better year to go CandR on some of the rivers. Big numbers returning this year combined with CandR efforts should make for healthy returns over the next few years. Kind of like going "bucks only" for deer immediatey after a really easy winter...overall herd #'s increase exponentially.

Thanks for the link and info.
