does anybody have any good spots to go canoeing in the Cannon river, is it a calm river or are there any rapids or portages, or any other places in petti or surrounding area

If u dont mind the drive...the nashawaak is a great river for canoeing that dumps into the SJR in fredericton.

I wouldn't advise canoeing the Nashwaak this time of year unless you start at Nashwaak Bridge. The water is terribly low but a lovely river for canoeing when there is any water.
