Lots of guys know where to find info about river levels, but some don't. This site provides data from many places in the Province (and elsewhere). You can also look up historical levels.

For what it is worth, I personally think the upper Kennebecasis is best for fishing when the level on the Apohaqui recorder is around 7.3 - 7.6 - that's based on comfortable wading (for me) and using flyfishing gear. Your experience may be different depending on what gear you use and how you like to fish. When you have been on a river a few times you can figure out when the water levels have been good and relate that to a number on the recorder. Some days that might save you a long drive that ends in dissapointing conditions. Or it can help you decide to forget about wading and perhaps take a canoe.
