I was just wondering if anybody knew where to fish rainbow trout around moncton other than shepody and croked creek. If anyone knows let me know, It would be greatly appreciated. Also if you have any decent bass fishing spots I might not know of I would love to hear of them!

The Petitcodiac River, near Salisbury has smallmouth.

Where along the shepody system is a good for targeting rainbows. What kind of flies do they like or, would I be better off using my spinning gear with spoons?

Crooked Creek near the 114 (going down to Fundy) contain Rainbow trout?? I never heard about it before, but this is great if this is the case

Yeah I never heard of steelhead here in NewBrunswick. I used to live in Ontario and we used to get them there all the time, but I have never heard of them up here. Can anyone tell me if there is actually steelhead here

u can fish them in shepody in crooked creek and in the st-john river near hartland the ru should be now...

IS there actually steelhead rainbow trout here? is that what you were referring to when saying "them" or was it for rainbow trout. If it wasn't about steelhead, do you know if there is any here in NB?

crooked creek in shepody has rainbow trout...i caught some there 15 of may around 15 inches, seen a guy miss one up there it must have been 4-5 pounds

went out to barry mills today with the wife and walked the river and found some very nice spots. its a nice spot if you have a short time to fish. the river we did today took us about an hour and a half. caught 3 trout (i was picky on what i wanted to keep)today and im thinkin of going back this week for more.

any other nice spots around that are nice to walk and catch?

Are you sure they were rainbows? I've fished there at berry mills and only caught brookies and some chubs/suckers.

before I can believe it!

i went to crooked creek today and there was big ass trout jumping but didnt want to get my fly would any one know what kind of fly to use up crooked creek or what color? or something that could help?
