Pointe-du-Chene wharf

mostly mackerel to be caught at point du chen warf. some days everyone is catching them all day long other days noone catches any. all depends if there's schools of mackerel around i guess. I have seen a couple small striped bass caught there too but that is very rare. If you just wanna bring the kids out to catch a few perch(junk fish) they can be caught beside the wharf all day long, with a worn and small hook. If you want to go after the mackerel I would use a mackerel rig and a lead minnow(both can be bought at canadian tire or wall mart for around 4-5 bucks)
