I'm new to fishing from a kayak (but not to fishing), and have an "Ocean Kayak Trident Angler 13".

I'd like to kayak fish with others in saltwater or freshwater.

I'm living in Salisbury and can go and travel any time.

Please PM me.

Hi
I just saw this and was wondering if you still kayak fish and where do you go? I'm looking at purchasing a fishing Kayak. I too live in Salisbury but not sure where to go.

Thanks for the help!

Hi Brad,

I am set up with all the gear to do it, but met a couple guys who have boats...so I haven't kayak fished, except

for a couple (nothing caught) trips out on the St, John River..

One of them took me out on the Miramichi last year and we Cleaned up on stripers.

He said kayakers do good there too...so that's where I plan to go when it warms up.

I also want to try for trout and smallies, if i can find a place to do it.

Hi Don
Thanks for reaching out. I'm narrowing it down to 2 kayaks....The Pescador Pro 10' or the new Pescador Outlaw 11.5.. I would like to hit the Miramichi as well and look at other spot. There is a FB page call Hook and Paddle and they are starting a tournament series which sounds interesting. I would like to go from Petty to Salisbury and drop a line here and there and get out at Highland park

Not sure...I haven’t purchased it yet but narrowed it down to two. Pescador Pro 10’ or the new model Perception Outlaw...should be making a decision in a week I hope.
