Been fishing many spots on the Nepisiguit, not much moving now. Lots of trout thou!! Would appreciate suggestion as to what flies to use on this river. Just moved back to the area after 12 years of being gone and a little rusty with the area. I'm on the river every single day, might of chatted with a few of you already!!

I'll be surprise if you caught a bright salmon this time of year in Nepisiguit. Usually the run will start late June/beginning of July.... This river is usually good with bombers (different body colors and white tail), undertaker, Green Butt Bear Hair and shady lady (different size...all depend about the water level).

For trout this time of year, I'll usually use small green machine, may flies and some nymph (something black/brown with red). btw,I also had some luck with royal coachman! Good luck!

Tks for the info people!! Looks like I'm doing the right thing, using all those flies that you mentioned. All my trouts so far have been caught on green machine, blue charm and undertaker and lots of succes with stoneflies. I figured it was a bit early, BUUUT, was on the river one night at about 9pm and we saw about 3-4 salmons coming up, as we were leaving of a full day of fishing and walking. Next day, nothing moving. Might of been some early runners!! The other thing is that I am mainly going places that are easily accessible due to the fact that none of my friends are hardcore fishermen like me. Would love to meet with some of you to expand my knowledge of this area and share info as well. PM me if anyone interested, I'll be there later on tonight!!

No problem! It could be possible for that a few salmon are coming up, but the big run is usually beginning of July... for me anyways... by the way, what do you mean by "stoneflies"?
