There is a launch on the west end of the dam. Don't bother with the marina, it costs money to launch. If you have a big boat or don't like the launch at the dam, there's one at the west end of Longs Creek bridge. It's paved. Fish longs creek, Kelly creek, jewetts creek, and any other place that looks good, all kinds of bass.

Rob, there are also good launches in the towns of Nackawic and Woodstock. Both would give you access to areas that dont ususally blow up to bad. The main Mactaquac Lake can get very nasty in the wind so check your weather. If you use the launch just past the dam you also have the option of fishing the Arm. There are two boat pipes under the causeway that you can go through and there is a lot of water to fish. It can be very good at times. Other times it will drive you crazy. If you use the pipes keep to the right. One is in one is out.
