We're just weeks away from this year's first kayak fishing tournament in the Maritimes!
Don't forget to sign up soon, so organizers can make it the best possible experience for everyone!
We need you to sign up to any or all of these events a.s.a.p.! Tell your friends too! And remember, both NB events are not restricted to kayaks, as you can enter with any human powered vessel, i.e.-canoe, float tube, etc.

April 30 - May 1st, NS Spring Smallie Slam: http://xkfx.ca/2011_cka_cross_canada_tour/ns_spring_smallie_slam

1) Fish July 17th only for tourney, but you can pre-fish to scope the area the day before (July 16th).

2) You can fish from shore if your boat is tethered to you.

3) Yes

4) July 16th- camp set up, bbq, mandatory captains meeting*,and meet & greet/social. No fishing that day.
July 17th- fishing begins 6am and ends 4pm, with scoring and awards ceremony to follow.

*-If you can't make it to the mandatory captains meeting on July 16th, then you must be at the pre-fish meeting at 5:30 am on July 17 prior to fish-off. If you were at the July 16th captain's meeting, then you don't need to be to the July 17th meeting.

If you or anybody else has/have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask.

We're not getting many pre-paid participants. As a result, We won't be able to buy everybody a hat for the tourney as we have to pre-pay for them, and not knowing at all how many people will sign up is too risky. So, as it turns out, only pre-paid participants will recieve a hat at the two NB events. Sign-up soon!

time to get ready for the hammond river classic! i`ll start pre fishing this week end (when i can stay awake due to striper fishing - time and tide!!!), it`s only just over 2 weeks away!!!! now if i can get better at sturgeon...! richard has had a chance to practice with his bait caster he won last year, so he will be major competition again this year, but you never know with a species tourney!!!!

jc, i`ll have to get a hold of you for more fliers so i can stick them on every car topped kayak i see.
