Question about Gaspereau

1) This fish usually jump for flies?
2) This fish will usually byte on worm?
3) Finally, is it good for the trouts when the river or near the pool area is loaded of gaspereau? Like, a gaspereau run mean the something?

If they are the fish I'm thinking of. I've never been able to catch one on a fly, I've caught a few on a worm, but most of the time the hook I was using was too big. I was also unable to catch nary a trout in the spot where they were.

Yeah, I've a feeling that the trouts are staying away from the gaspereau for some reason.

If you're after trout, it's a bad thing if the spot is full of gaspereau. You will not catch any trout if the gaspereau are there: the trout will have moved on.
