For anyone interested, i know its short notice, i posted this awhile ago or atleast i thought i did, must have x'ed out without posting, anyways the French Lake (lakeville corner) pickerel tourny is tmrw the 19th , bl;ast off is at 8 am from the Mill Rd on Indian Lake (just down from sandpoint. Registration is from 7-8 at the same place, last few years its been 2 biggest combined length, usually runs 8-3? maybe 4..can't remember the cost 10-20 i think, usually a good turnout and a lot of fun!

Tourny was a good turn out, 32 boats I believe, fishing was amazing the first half until it got hot after that the wind came up and the fishin down hill, a lot of people including myself had trouble keeping fish alive, a lot of fish died before getting to the registration, i think the winner was a 25 something and another fish a bit smaller, not as good as last year but s till a great day out

Too bad about the fish not making it. Was it the heat? I know it was very hot out.

Still 25" is pretty nice. My daughter and I went there for part of the day ourselves, though we didn`t get anything close to 25". Unfortunately she started feeling pretty sick so we left a little sooner than we wanted too. I`m aching to get back there to try again!

We were there today, me and son inlaw, I didn't think that we would catch much after a tournement like yesterday but we had a real good day,caught a hole bunch,probably around 30 or so, of various lengths, some in the low twenties.
