Just trying to see if anyone is interested in a fly swap .. using fall patterns for salmon.. for anyone that has never participated in a swap before it is simple I will explain it quickly .. step 1 .. agree to tie 12 flies all the same .. step 2 mail them to the swap organizer by a certain date ( agreed upon all 12 that participate ) step 3 .. when all flies are received the swap leader will ship you 12 differnt flies in the self adressed envelope you sent with your original 12 flies. It's that simple! If there is 14 agreed .. then you have to tie 14 flies.. ect.... but it's kept at a reasonable amount to allow for time 12 to 15 .. is the norm:)

I'm in, Zamboni Guy. Allie's Shrimp.

I assume you will be the coordinator for this.

Select a cutoff date to enter and post a list of the swapper's name and their selected Pattern so that you don't have 4 guys (or 14) all tie the same pattern, and set a deadline date to send in their flies. Recipients will post when they send out their flies and you update the list as the swap unfolds. I suggest Sept. 3 as the cutoff date. That gives you about a week to receive, sort & mail out the swap (Sept 10). Participant should receoive by Sept 17th. Just perfect for a fall fish.

Is there any updates on the Fly Swap. I was wondering if is still a go? Has a deadline been set yet?
I just happened to be away for a week to Cape Breton and I still don't see any news regarding the swap........Zamboni, what's up.?

If you don't have time to do the swap, I would like to volunteer to carry it through, as I am really looking forward to doing it soon. The fall season of fishing is just around the corner and I am ready to go.

Please let me know soon.!!

thanks,!!
