I'm looking to go fishing today and i would like some advice on spots around freddy to fish from shore! I'm trying to take advantage of the sunny weather so when my wife gets home at 6pm i would like to do some fishing. Can anyone help?

Hi there. I'm not sure what the water temperature is like there or what species you are after, but a few spots you could try would be around the mouth of the Nashwaak river. When the water temperature is right, smallmouth bass can easily be caught there and I believe there is a good run of sea trout that makes there way by there at some point as well. Be sure to check your regulations before casting anywhere though. Best of luck and tight lines.

Is the water too cool for bass? And what kind of lures should I use in this time of the year? Is it for instance too early for poppers?
