Can anyone suggest species I might catch here in Grand Bay? I have a 16 foot with 30hp and lots of fishing tackle but have not caught a thing!

See fish (sturgeon or salmon) jumping all around me .... lol ... my wife says only fish I will catch is one that jumps in the boat.

I have had success at Falls but would love to take my boat out of Martinon area and catch any species .... not fussy... catch and release!

Suggestions??

I own a summer house at Epworth Park in Grand Bay and I agree all you will likely see is jumping fish in that area.

You need to go a little further than the Westfield ferry and explore the Nerepis. There are pickerel, perch, smallmouth, and striped bass in there depending on time of year and water levels.

Plenty of good fishing further up the river (Belleisle, Hampstead, Queenstown, Gagetown, Oromocto)

Also good fishing within easy range of the town dock at Hampton.
