Yes it is illegal to use a 2-stroke or 4 stroke greater than 10 hp but as Twinfan states it is widely ignored with not much enforcement and no signage whatsoever.Lease holders ONLY on the Musquash system are supposed to have an exemption sticker fixed to their existing 2-strokes and have until next year(?) I beleive to replace their engine and comply to the 4-stroke rules?No exempt sticker you CAN be charged.
