It's been 20 years since I fished down in Blacks Harbour, since I live in Ontario now. I know some things have changed like you now need a licence to dig clams (you didnt back in the 1980's). Do I need a licence to fish off a warf now for Mackeral since I am out of province?

generally you do not need a licence to fish tidal water. google " New Brunswick Fish guide 2010 " for regulations,tidal waters etc.

Fletch, look in the forum here called saltwater fishing, Pointe de chene wharf, mackeral fishing. Both articles mention mackeral rigs!!
