well can't really blame them for closing the rivers, it is way too hot to fish now. I am hoping it will be better later in the season still want to catch my first one

Nine more closures being announced tonight/tomorrow.
One on the Cains and one on the Renous, I think, and the rest on the main southwest.
Gonna have to all empty our coolers in the rivers to bring the water temps down and levels up.

In a nutshell:

NOTICE

From July 24 to December 31 the season is closed to all fishing activities in the following waters:

 The waters of the Cains River to a point 100 meters off shore from 100 meters upstream to 100 meters downstream of the mouth of Salmon Brook, and the waters of Salmon Brook upstream from its confluence with the Cains River to South Cains River Road.

 The waters of the Renous River to a point 100 meters off shore from 100 meters upstream to 100 meters downstream of the mouth of Butty's Brook, and the waters of Butty's Brook upstream from its confluence with the Renous River to South Renous Road.

 The waters of the Southwest Miramichi River to a point 100 meters off shore from 100 meters upstream to 100 meters downstream of the pump house located at grid reference 295921 5193400.

 The waters of the Southwest Miramichi River to a point 100 meters off shore from 100 meters upstream to 100 meters downstream of the mouth of Gray Rapids Brook, and the waters of Gray Rapids upstream from its confluence with the Southwest Miramichi River to Route 118.

 The waters of the Southwest Miramichi River to a point 100m off shore from 100 meters upstream to 100 meters downstream of the mouth of Morse Brook, and the waters of Morse Brook upstream from its confluence with the Southwest Miramichi River to Howard Road.

 The waters of the Southwest Miramichi River to a point 100 meters off shore from 100 meters upstream to 100 meters downstream of the mouth of Black Brook, and the waters of Black Brook upstream from its confluence with the Southwest Miramichi River to South Cains River Road.

 The waters of the Southwest Miramichi River to a point 100 meters off shore from 100 meters upstream to 100 meters downstream of the mouth of Donnelly Brook, and the waters of Donnelly Brook upstream from its confluence with the Southwest Miramichi River to the South Road Bridge.

 The waters of the Southwest Miramichi River to a point 100 meters off shore from 100 meters upstream to 100 meters downstream of the mouth of Betts Mills Brook, and the waters of Betts Mills Brook upstream from its confluence with the Southwest Miramichi River to Highway # 8.

 The waters of the Southwest Miramichi River to a point 100 meters off shore from 100 meters upstream to 100 meters downstream of the mouth of Porcupine Brook, and the waters of Porcupine Brook upstream from its confluence with the Southwest Miramichi River to Story Town Road.

Reminder: The recent closures to the waters listed below are still in effect.

 The waters of Northwest Miramichi River 100 meters upstream to 100 meters downstream from the mouth of Sutherland Brook and from Sutherland Brook from its confluence with the Northwest Miramichi River upstream to the highway 420 bridge;

 The Southwest Miramichi River from a point 300 meters upstream from the Quarryville Bridge to a point 300 meters downstream from the said bridge, including Indian Town Brook from its confluence with the Southwest Miramichi River upstream to Highway 108 Bridge;

 The waters of the north side of the Southwest Miramichi River to a point 100 meters off shore, from a point 100 meters upstream to a point 100 meters downstream of the mouth of Wilson Brook, and the waters of Wilson Brook upstream to a point 100 meters from its confluence with the Southwest Miramichi River, an area known locally as the Bear Den.
