I was very fortunate this year: Crawford July 4.
Only been putting in that pick for about 25 years and this is the first time I got it.
I'm a happy camper.

we got ground hog for june 28 a bit early but ill take always a great time up there anyone fished here before any info would be appreciated thanks

ltff, my buddies had Groundhog last year earlier than that, and they enjoyed the fishing weekend of their lives, with tons of salmon and trout, and big ones at that.
I too figured they were way too early, plus it poured rain all weekend so I thought for sure they wouldn't see many fish.
Yet they scored big time!

What effect will the problem with the Northwest have on the Crown water if the recommendations are followed ?

if they make it C&R I am almost positive that will include all the crown water streches as well.

what do you think of the Depot. never been there. Only ever been on the narrows but may try for the Depot / Crawford in the mini draw

I always found the depot to be an excellent stretch but it depends on the time. I have always had it the 10th to 15th of July. Probably not so good later in July or August. I had Stoney Brook stretch in August and there were no fish at all.

I found the pool above the camp where the brook runs in (forgot pool name) to be as good as any.
If you walk up river from the camp, you might get lucky. there is a fairly large rock in middle of river but this is not shown on map(about a 10 minute wade). Last pool down (moose brook) is a good pool but a long way down (take 4 wheeler and cross river below camp).I don't think there are any bad pools on Depot stretch.
