I do not feel like a serious trout angler who kills every fish he/she kills can consider themselves a conservationist, however there should be nothing wrong with someone who enjoys the odd feed of small trout. It is not fair to say that everyone who does not release every single fish they catch cannot be truly concerned with conservation.
