Tks Joe for the info. Much appreciated!Depends if you want to run the upper part or lower part . Upper part is C&R And there is lots of spots to camp . The lower part you can keep fish . Both are fly fishing only .We use to put in at the bridge on the grandlake road and go to the end it can be done in 2 days or 3 days depending on how much paddleing and fishing ya want to do .The lower part has dead water. We always stopped the first night at 6 Mile brook and then just found another spot on down. But you'll want to check water levels in June as it drops fast the lower park where the dead water is good and deep .
I was at the mouth of the Cains on Friday and there was really good water flow. And apparently the area got a lot of rain this weekend which would only help you more.Has anyone been canoeing on the Cains lately? We are heading next weekend. Wondering how the water levels were and how the fishing was?
