Hi I was just wondering what kind of fish are in Bennet Lake in Fundy. I am planning to go next weekend. Much is appreciated.

I was there last year and the guy was saying is a dandy lake for trout. He said most are pan fish, with the odd big one lurking around. I never bothered to fish.

I am no sure if there is any other species.

I am pretty sure you need to buy a day fishing permit to fish at that lake.

Thanks but do you have any idea what kind of bait? worms, minnows? Much is appreciated

Some days worms are the ticket at Bennett.
Some days flyfishing is far more productive.
You never know which day is which, though. Either works. I'd bring both.
Yes you do need a day pass to fish there. I don't recall the price but I remember it being a bit pricey for the little trout that live in there.
Oh well, still had a fun day.
