Hey, I love fishing brookies in beaver dams and always end up catching a bunch! I currently know of two beaver dams and one of them is secret and on family land. The other beaver dam is situated at the start of pacific junction road. Does any one know of any nice beaver dams to fish in the moncton and surrounding area?

Here is a video I made of me and some buddies trout fishing on our secret beaver dam today.

This beaver dam that you speak of in pacific junction, how well is the fishing? Are you just using standard spinner and worm?

I love fishing brookies in beaver dams,if they arent fished much they always hold a big one somewhere, i know of over a half dozen,(none nrear moncton tho) most of which are known to few people, others are known but are to far back and to hard to fish that most people don't other with them, one in particular i only fish maybe 3 times a year, I always get a nice meal of brookies

Some days the fishing is terrific and others, it is not the best. I use spinner and worm or just hook and worm but the fish there love flies too. I am going to go there with a fly rod soon as I am getting one some time this week!

Do you have any spots that you could tell me? even privately? Fishing in beaver dams is one of my favourite things to do and I love releasing them to hope I catch a HOGG. I only keep the fish that get hooked to deep, wich is rare and it means I do catch and release about 95% of the time. If you are willing to tell me some spots and you don't want to say it here to keep it private, my email is:

It's been a long time since I fished a beaver damn but have many fond memories of fishing them. There was one in behind Grassy Lake near the top of Fundy Park. We would fish Grassy lake but we always had to fish the damn when we were at that end of the lake. The lake really isn't much bigger than a pond but I have had many hours of fun there in my float tube.
