going up there for the weekend and want to get out.
hoping i can get into some stripers..

any help would be appreciated.

It's against the law to fish Stripers anywhere on the east side of New Brunswick.
Just an FYI. You can fish them on the Bay of Fundy side.

i think you missunderstood. salt or fresh water, there is no open season for stripers on our east coast...yet! so no targeting stripers there. with luck they should open it in the next year or 2, the locals say they are everywhere. until then, it`s all bay of fundy and the rivers that flow into it. sorry.

no, i completly understood i was unable to fish for stripers..
but thank you.
I can still fish the ocean for salt water species, i do it in NS often

How did ya make out fishing in the salt ? I fish flat fish and smelts and keep catching tons of striped bass in Bathurst . Should open the season soon since you cant even go two minutes before hooking on to one ....
