Looking to kayak Magaguadavic Lake in the near future and was wondering if there are any good entry points near or somewhat near the dam?  Is the road to the dam still passable or is it now just a trail for bikes?

I am aware of the launch when you come off rt 635, turn right at the junction and take the first right.  I've been to this spot years ago but was looking from something a little more south.

If you don't care for the paint job on your vehicle, you might still be able to get to the dam by Jeep or truck. I haven't been there in a few years though. Took my ATV.

Irving workers travel to the dam by 1/2 ton on a regular basis. The road is kept better than it used to be.

Thanks for the replies guys.  I'll leave a little earlier and check out the road to the dam.  If it gets too rough then I'll put in up off rt635
