Going to TNT campground for a week with a two canoe boat(check twocanoe.com) with trolling motor and a few batteries. Should I be heading up river or down towards the lake?

Thanks

Newbie

The cannan rapids are just downstream from there which I have heard is a great way to damage your boat or prop I would put my boat in at coles island and fish that whole area down to the lake.

Tubes will pretty much never fail. I usually use Green Pumpkin and like to hop it along the bottom. My next two choices would be a square bill crankbait or a texas rig stickbait.

Medium spinner with worm will allow you to catch other fish as well as smallies great way to cover a lot of water to locate them then jig with anything on it i prefer white 3 inch grub use weedless if you get hooked up too much p.S. some have great success with wacky rig senkos on the Canaan also be aware that bass are few and far between in the Canaan by the time summer hits.
