How is the fishing around this area for you guys lately? cause for us its not been really great, I mean we always get a few but nothing like it was a month ago, im wondering if there are nets around the area that would explain the sudden lack of smelts ?

Hi, I have been going once or twice a week. It is fantastic to be out fishing...

I was there all day on Thursday (Feb.11). I did not see any or get any bites. Now the week before on Thursday (Feb. 4) it was slow all day until the tide started going out and it turned on. I had gotten my limit in a very short period of time. So far my experience has been, as the saying goes, feast or famine. I am not noticing any particular .pattern and also I have noticed that they seem to be tightly grouped, meaning out of all of the holes being fished only one or two are producing.

Hope to see you there guys, I am using a Frabill flip over...drop in

Cheers and good luck

went there morning of Feb. 8, very good that day. However, my friends and I went again afterwards, it was very slow and not too much fish since then.
